To achieve the long term strategic goals of the Institution, the community outreach operations is committed to:

• Developing Vision Centres across the districts of Alwar, Rajasthan; Mewat, Haryana and Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh; and outlying areas of Delhi to ensure quality primary eye care delivery with sustainability.
• Creating awareness about Eye care issues by working with formal and informal stakeholders in communities it operates in.
• Executing and implementing field activities of various projects that are developed by clinical departments.
• Providing capacity building inputs to like minded partners as well as taking up and executing consultancy assignments.
