It is a well know fact that our country has an estimated 12 million blind people; approximately 25% of the total blind population of the world. What is however not that well known perhaps is that 80% of this blindness is reversible or the fact that 90% of the blind live in rural underserved areas.

It is this fact that has driven us over the last 96 years and enabled us to give back vision to more than 1,25,000 people down the years and continues to inspire us.
