This training
program is specially meant for
practicing ophthalmologist to
make a transition to Extra Capsular
Cataract Extraction with IOL implant
(ECCE+IOL). The course doesn’t
attempt to teach basic surgical
skills. For joining the course,
it is pre-requisite that the ophthalmologist
should be a cataract surgeon with
adequate experience in cataract
surgery.

of certificates.

facilities
The
library is well
equipped with
Videos, CDs and
journals. Access
to the Internet
and on-line databases
like Medline are
also available.
The fellows will
also have an access
to a well-equipped
surgical wet laboratory.
