| The Paediatric
Centre covers all aspects of
a visually challenged child's
eye health such as prevention,
treatment, and rehabilitation.
In addition, the Centre conducts
clinical, epidemiological and
basic investigations focusing
on the outcome, prevalence,
genetics, congenital anomalies,
infection, cataract, glaucoma,
ROP, and retinoblastoma.
This program aims to train eye
care professionals in early intervention
treatment strategies to address
the critical issue of childhood
blindness. In addition, other
aspects of childhood blindness
are covered. |

The
fellows will be
required to review
the medical records
of all the hospital
patients and present
a summary of the
patient data along
with a treatment
plan. Post-operative
and medical rounds
will start early
in the fellowship,
enabling reporting
on specific assignments.

fellow will be

the period of
fellowship. They
will be allowed

as per the rules
of the Institute.
