Dr Nidhi Dhawan specialises in the field of ENT with Head and Neck Surgery with Otology as core area of her specialisation. She is an alumnus of Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi. Recipient of Gold Medal in MS ENT from the Delhi University, she did her Fellowship in cochlear implant from Veria, Greece, under Dr Trifon Kiratzidis. She is also a certified PH professional (Ear Health) from PHAFI, Hyderabad.
She completed her Executive MBA with specialisation and distinction in HR as Major and Finance as Minor area of specialisation. Her Thesis/ dissertation was on Leadership styles and emerging trends in Organisational history, and explored shared leadership concepts in organisational growth and sustainability.
Her professional career spans more than two and a half decades, and she is currently the Associate Medical Director, ENT at Dr Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital. She co-manages the clinical, academic and outreach arms of ENT department. Her special interests are Otology and CI Surgery.
She is a recipient of Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award, 2018, Outstanding Temporal Bone Dissection in CI Handson Workshop, Mumbai, in 2019.
An avid reader and writer, she has also authored two novels, “Banyan Tree Brothers” and “Yonder-How far must I run”. Her writings are a reflection and exploration of human nature and struggles, aspiration and fulfilment in vastly different emotional landscapes.
